12:50 pm - "Making a Living is not the same thing as making a Life"

"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she
handles these 3 things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights." -Maya Angelou

...So life has been pretty swell for me lately. I've still been working a lot, and I'm actually "babysitting" right now...I start drivers ed tonite and there's just a lot going on but I cant complain. I haven't been bored at all this summer because I haven't had a moment to be! I've enjoyed most of this breezy summer though, even though it was filled with hard work. I still had enough time for play and for seeing some people I care about. There have been many summer nights perfect for sneaking out, and I've taken up on them! Me and Samantha, Dorsey, and Danny snuck out one night and went to a creepy, Elkridge abandened house. And then there were the few times set aside for being a crazy, underage drinker haha. I also got to be relaxed with Samantha while stuffing my face with bacon pizza and diggin' the movie "Tommy" by The Who (GREAT band by the way) I've also seen Kelsey a lot and gone shopping with her quite a few times. Last night I saw "Wedding Crashers" with a kid I work near and it was a funny movie...Life is looking up.

Hey everyone! It's been a long time...I'm in New York right now and life is dandy. I've been working at KB toys (back in Maryland) and I'm saving my money for a purple van...yea, purple. So anyway I have a few pictures to share with you about my glorious trip...I'll be home soon...by the way who can give me a ride to work at 3:00 on Wednesday June 27th?? Huh? Any takers???? OK...enjoy the pictures.

Me and my sister looking at a Sea Lion (not to be confused with a  true Seal) at a local New York aquarium...so cute.

Petting the STING RAYS! They were my absolut favorite! I really want one!

Old picture...me and Bob Dylan (I havent changed...I still love the man) I just thought I'd throw this picture on here because I went to Greenwich Village in New York City during my visit and went to an old record shop in the basement of some dump...and the entire place was covered in his records and pictures. Then I saw his old apartment!!!!

.....So how's your life been?

I'm writing this to say
in a gentle way
Thank You - but no
I will live my life as I
will undoubtedly die - alone
I'm writing this to say
in a gentle way
Thank you...
I will live my life as I...
for whether you stay
or you stray
an inbuilt guilt catches up with you
and as it comes around to your place
at 5 a.m. it wakes you up
and laughs in your face

10:50 am - "Look at me now, Look at me n-n-n-noooow!"
Yesterday Ms. Jamie came over and I have to say, it was a rather smooth visit. We talked over a bag of dorritos and then headed to the thrift store. I bought Waynes World!!!(ive been searching for that movie forever) and I also got this cool granny kind of moomoo, I love those kind of pajamas because if I throw on a set of pearls, I can feel ultra glamorous in the night time. Then we stopped by Danny Fords house, and then SuperFresh to get some vanilla frosting for our yummy cake (Jamie can drive now so we went all over the place) After we made our trip to the grocery store, and had a chat with the cashier, Karen...we made a trip to good ole Dan Wolf's house. From a distance I thought Dan was a retarted girl with long brown hair...but, that was a retarted girl, not Dan. Innocent mistake. We captured Dan, along with Josh Torrez and made them help with our cake, which ended up turning out pretty good, even though I dont have any measuring utencils. Then we watching, none other than Waynes World!!! During the movie Jamie had to leave, so me, Dan, and Torrez finished it up and then ran around Elkridge. mmm I got to jump on Dans trampoline and listen to them jam out. After going crazy on the trampoline we all tried to make shapes out of the clouds. I found a little boy crying and a transvestite clown, oh and a turtle. When I got home, my dad was in his chair, calmly explaining that my mom was going crazy because she didnt know where I was, sheesh that lady needs to get a hold of herself! It was only like 9:45 and she was freakin! Anyway when I got home I watched Mrs Doubtfire with Rachel and fell asleep in my clothes (how romantic <3) and damn it I missed Jay Chancellors telephone call! ahhh i always miss it when he calls me, meh. But now its Mothers Day, and my Mom isnt even home yet, but Im ready for her with a nice present.

6:52 pm - "Pick me up love..."
I had to stay afterschool today for LRHS Coffee House tryouts, and I was kinda mad that I couldnt just go home, but Dan Wolf stayed with me and it was wonderful! I ended up having a lot of fun, and many adventures. I got my mom a Mothers Day present too...she deserves that joint and Rachel got her eyebrows waxed, they make her look pretty different, but it exclusively brings out her eyes! Good day, even though I almost killed my social studies teacher, hmmm.

chacha chacha this morning i was one tired individual, but i cleaned up my act and woke up later on in the day. when i got home i tossed my bookbag to the side, grabbed some flavored pretzals (amazing snack) and turned on "the sound of music"...gosh that movie makes me just want to SING!
this weekend was pretty jam-packed with good stuff. friday nite there was MORP, which by the way was superb! everyone was dissing on it before it started, but by the time it ended we all left with smiles...then saturday was play practice, where i solved the case of "the missing flour baby", oh im such a detective... anyone remember how i always used to carry around a magnifying glass? yea that was my true detectiveness seeping out. then saturday nite maroon 5 concert, they were terrific, that man can really sing! sunday devin came over and we played in the crick. the end.

5:44 pm - "When the world ends, I'll take you aside and say 'Lets Watch It Fade Away'..."
Today was a day of all days. I was hopping around from place to place, but loving every minute of it! I'm a Mother now!!!! Leary Lay Moore is his name, and he's the most beautiful son a Mother could ask for! Randy and I are very proud parents and we will raise our boy right! Now I know it's just a "bag of flour" but seriously, when i held Leary in my arms, I felt connected...I just love that child of mine! Sweet, sweet child of mine (thats for you randy) Anyway today me and Spencer had a Lizard for a substitute, and I discovered that my math teacher thinks he is a warewolf, hmmm. I love mr flick regardless of his strange habits. Today was also mr stewarts <3 birthday...and Learys birthday!!! At lunch Josh told me I had fairytale shoes...and it made me smile. I had my junior interview today as well and it went perfectly! This wonderful man named Stan interviewed me and he couldnt have been more pleasent! I got all yes checks! mmm play practice was enthralling and we danced a lot and kissed our pretend husbands...
all and all it was a superb day.

8:08 pm - 61 White Revisited
"Yes, I'm lonely
Wanna die
If I ain't dead already,
Girl you know the reason why.

The eagle picks my eye
The worm he licks my bone
I feel so suicidal,
Just like Dylans Mr. Jones"

       -The White Album
  "Yer Blue"-John Lennon

Who is Dylan's Mr Jones you ask? Why it's the mysterious character
from Bob Dylans Highway 61 Revisited Album "Ballad of a Thin Man"
John Lennon and Bob Dylan were good friends throughout the 196o's
and they admired each others work. Lennon's reference to Dylan in
"Yer Blue" seems unclear to the average Beatles fan, much like most
of Lennon's work is. Most people look at his songs like random words
jumbled together, but if you know his background they prove to be so
much more...

Excerpt from "Ballad of a Thin Man"
"You hand in your ticket
And you go watch the geek
Who immediatly walks up to you
When he hears you speak,
And says "How does it feel to be such a freak?"
And you say "Impossible" as he hands you a bone.

Because something is happening here
But you dont know what it is...do you Mr. Jones?

You have many contacts among the lumberjacks
To get you facts when someone attacks your imagination
But nobody has any respect
Anyway they already expect you
To just give a check
To tax-deductable organizations.
You've been with the professors and they've all liked your looks
With great lawyers you have discussed leapers and crooks
You've been through all of F. Scott Fitzgeralds books,
Your very well read...it's well known.

Because something is happening here
But you dont know what it is...do you Mr. Jones?"

11:46 am - "If you'll be my bodyguard, I'll be your long lost pal."
Well yesterday 1:00 came and went, and my shower never warmed up!
I took the coldest shower in existance!!! But hey now I'm definitly icey
clean! Samantha offered me her warm shower, but I was like ahhh forget
it Im already cold, and in the end maybe this will make me stronger! haha.
Yesterday was just no good, but I still had an AOK day. I sang at Danny's
coffee house, "Leaving on a Jet Plane" (John Denver) and "No Rain" (Blind Melon)
and it was the worst performance of my life. I almost ran offstage because I was
so ashamed. Danny and Nick were still performing, and they didnt do to hot either.
I completely left them so I could backstage and lie on a random heater and sulk.
I wasnt that sad, just disappointed at all of us for not caring and not practicing.
Then some random angel came and cheered me up. His name was Scott and
he was a performer too, he told me all about the first time his band played
"Come Together" by The Beatles and totally fucked it up. We talked for a long
time all about  The Beatles and music, he cheered me up a lot. And then I went
back into the autitorium and made friends with some nice kids and danced to
a band playing Offspring and Green Day songs. It turned out ok and Im gonna
hang out with those kids sometime soon.

Now I'm about to head to "The Wizard of Oz" and watch
from backstage the kids Ive been working with for over a
month give their first show...good luck little ones! <3

Renee and I are going to watch HELP! soon, I'm soo
excited, Ive always wanted to see it! All I know is The
Beatles go skiing and Ringo gets a ring stuck on his
finger...sounds classic!

3:19 pm - Chimes Of Freedom
Lately I have inhabited the mind of a hermit...I dont really want to see or talk to anyone, but at the same time I long for warm human contact. Sorry for anyone I may have unintentional ignored or treated rawly. Damn I want an adventure, I just want to go off somewhere exotic...me and my stupid dreams.

Im glad we didnt have school today. I could already see how the day would be, the same stuff all over.

11:17 am - Oh Mercy!
I just finished watching "A Streetcar Named Desire", it was really good, but pretty confusing. I might have to watch it again. God Marlon Brando is sooo sexy, but his voice kind of bothers me, he always sounds like he's drunk of his ass! So yesterday I babysat for 12 hours yesterday, and luclkily it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. I only got $65, but I really didn't do anything...I basically read the rest of Bob Dylan's Chronicles the entire time...I dont think I could have made it without a book or something to read. There was one part in the book that was written so beautifully, and I would like to share it with anyone who will listen...

"I was staying at the Plaza Hotel on 59th street
and had come back after midnight,
went through the lobby and headed upstairs.
As I stepped out of the elevator,
a call girl was coming towards me in the hallway-
pale yellow hair wearing a fox coat-
high heeled shoes that could pierce your heart.
She had blue circles around her eyes, black eyeliner,
dark eyes.
She looked like she had been beaten up
and was afraid that she'd get beat up again.
In her hand, crimson purple wine in a glass.
"I'm just dying for a drink,"
she said as she passed me in the hall.
She had a beautifulness,
but not for this kind of world.
Poor wretch, doomed to walk this hallway for a thousad years."
